Grape harvesting started today at the President's vineyard. It coincided with the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel, so symbolically harvesting was opened by Metropolitan Sergi.
Nikoloz Saakashvili and his godfather Ex-President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko were also engaged in harvesting.
President Saakashvili opened the harvesting joined by youth of Kvareli and winemakers from different regions of Georgia, who earlier attended the two-day training conducted by the French enologist Jean Michel.
